Referrals are required to bring small hand or power tools appropriate for the job position to
which they are assigned. A general list of these tools includes but is not limited to the
following:

Non – Theatre Concert Work (Live Nation) Calls Hands:
Required On your person:
- 8” adjustable C wrench
- Work Gloves
- A pocket Knife or razor knife
- Flashlight or head lamp
- Show call spot ops are required to have a telrad or similar sight.
Suggested to have in your car:
- Rain Gear
- Clean show blacks
- Dry change of clothes and shoes

Live Nation calls Riggers:
Required for Up Riggers:
- Rigging or safety harness
- Drop line appropriate for the venue
- Carabiners
Required for Down Riggers:
- Laser with spare batteries
- 25 ft tape measure
- 100ft soft tape (Head Rigger)

All other calls
Required on your person
- 8” adjustable C wrench
- Work Gloves
- Tape measure 25’ or longer
- A pocket Knife or razor knife
- Flashlight or head lamp
Required in your bag, easily and quickly accessible.
- 16 oz. Hammer or heavier
- Flat head screwdriver
- lock pliers or a multi- tool
- Diagonal wire cutters
- Ratchet and socket set (7/16, 1⁄2, 3/8, 9/16)
- Pencil or sharpie

Suggested to have in your car:

- Rain Gear
- Clean show blacks
- Dry change of clothes and shoes

Show blacks should include: a black, long-sleeved shirt, long black pants and black shoes and socks. Shirts should be logo-free, although a small Local 927 or other IATSE emblem is acceptable.
